We just came back from an epic two week trip that took us to New York City, Long Island, New Orleans, the Cajun country, Memphis and Nashville. I’ll be posting photos right here over the next few days.
Notre-Dame-des-neiges is the largest cemetery in all of Canada. Located in the middle of the city, it is easily accessible and is a great place for a long, contemplative walk, especially during the cold days of this fall season.
Athens, circa 2009. We were only supposed to stay in Athens for a few hours but we hit a transit strike in Italy and missed our flight to Santorini so we decided to stay two days in the capital of Greece before we headed our next destination (Istanbul). As much of inconvenience as this transit strike was at first (more on that later), we ended up having lots of fun in Athens and I’m glad we got to visit this fascinating city.
This snapshot was taken a few weeks ago at one of the weekly drumcircle gatherings at Mont-Royal park, known here as the Tam-tams (I mentioned the Tam-tams in another article on this site, click here to check it out).
