Homecoming

Our bodies have been home for a week now, but our brains just made it back today. That’s how bad the jet-lag has been.

When we first arrived in Tokyo, we’d also been struck by the major time difference, and we did feel worn out for a week but we were so excited to discover the city and to be in a new country that we managed to find the energy to go out exploring.

Coming back to reality isn’t quite as thrilling.

Thankfully, we both had no obligations in the days following our homecoming, so we could manage to spend a few days lounging around at home, avoiding the outside world save a few trips to buy some food.

Today, we HAD to get out of the house, to vote in our provincial elections. It is an exciting day because  our current prime minister will probably get sacked and although the other contenders to his job aren’t great, it’ll be nice to have a change after 9 years.

Anyways, since I’m now starting to get things done, I’ll be posting some more photos from our trip.

Hope you’ll enjoy and be inspired and if ever you have any questions about our trip, please do not hesitate!
