Notre-Dame-des-neiges is the largest cemetery in all of Canada. Located in the middle of the city, it is easily accessible and is a great place for a long, contemplative walk, especially during the cold days of this fall season.

    Interesting, I took a photo trek through the cemetery a few weeks ago. It is a very nice place to go during the fall, lots of photo ops.

      Thanks! I saw your lovely post. I also did not know that we were supposed to get permission to take photos there! Mont Royal in general is a great place for photography enthusiasts.

        Yeah, you need permission. Though, I walked right by a security guard with my cam around my neck and he did not say anything. Not sure how they can enforce it, but I rather respect the rules that they have layed out. Happy shooting
